The Move Tree

The move tree is a ecording of all the siginificant changes made to the board since the start of the puzzle. It will record the cell, the value, and any notes held in the "Notes" section of the screen. These notes may be hints generated for you (if you've asked for them) or your own thoughts about the board as that particular position.

You can use your mouse to click on any move in the more tree, which will also change the board to appear as it was when that move was made. The cursor keys W, X, A, D will also move the highlight around the move tree.

If you back up the move tree and begin making new moves, it will branch as necessary, allow you to record several "alternate realities" of solving the board. This is a necessity when entering a value that one isn't 100% confident of, and you would like to later try another. You can even enter a note at that position, stating that you had several options, what they were, and what you've tried.
